Sennheiser e 906 · Evolution Instrument Microphone
Sennheiser e 906 Supercardioid Dynamic Instrument Microphone
The Sennheiser e 906 is a dynamic supercardioid instrument microphone designed primarily for miking guitar amplifiers, and also at home on snare, percussion and brass. Its flat, side-address shape lets it hang in front of a cabinet from its own cable — no stand needed — and a three-position presence switch tailors the tone from bright to dark.
Key Features
Three-Position Presence Switch
Choose bright, flat or dark voicing to match the amp and style — from cutting leads to warmer tones.
Flat, Hang-in-Front Shape
The slim side-address body hangs in front of a cabinet by its cable, saving stand space on stage.
Supercardioid Pattern
A tight supercardioid pickup rejects off-axis sound for better separation on a loud stage.
Fast Transient Response
A quick transient response captures the attack and detail of the performance.
Rugged Metal Body
A steel housing with a spring-mounted capsule is built for the road.
Versatile Miking
Works well on guitar amps, snare, percussion and brass instruments.
