Frequently Asked Questions
Will the Reloop Stylus GT work on cartridges other than the Reloop OM GT?
The Stylus GT is specifically engineered and optimized to act as a direct replacement stylus for the Reloop OM GT cartridge body to ensure the perfect physical fit and matched audio output parameters.
Why is a spherical stylus profile better for scratching?
A spherical stylus sits naturally in the center of the record groove. Unlike elliptical options, it does not bite into the groove walls during backward and forward motion, which significantly reduces record wear during intense scratch routines and back-cueing.
Is this replacement stylus compatible with Serato, Rekordbox, and Traktor timecode setups?
Yes. The signal output of the Stylus GT is optimized to yield maximum performance and tracking fidelity when reading digital vinyl system (DVS) timecode signals, offering flawless software responsiveness alongside excellent standard analog playback.
Who is the primary manufacturer behind this stylus?
The Reloop Stylus GT was developed in a prestigious close partnership with Ortofon, the world leader in cartridge design and manufacturing, combining Reloop's target-focused DJ design with Ortofon's exceptional acoustic engineering.
